[LON-CAPA-users] Proctoring for Online

David,

Thanks! I’ve been poking around. You video from a few years ago is very useful.

So this would require us enabling our blackboard courses and placing a link in
blackboard under the spot where we would normally place a blackboard exam?
I have to admit, I have steered clear of blackboard (very, very clear) so far, so I am
not very blackboard conversant.

Do the students need to sign up for the slot then in LON-CAPA before taking the
exam?

In blackboard you simply link to the regular LON-CAPA login I presume and the
student navigates to the exam?

How does proctortrack select/find out about the user and password for the slot?

I know you’re probably insanely busy, but is it okay to email back with other questions
if they come up?

Mark

I thought I found what I needed in &check_status(?partid?) on page 29 of the Author Manual, but it does not work well when using both lenient grading and retrypartial. (I did eventually figure out that I needed to add retrypartial.) In that case check_status returns 1 even if the answer is only partially correct. Because of that, I was not able to craft a conditional expression to do what I needed.
