[LON-CAPA-users] limited number of concurrent users during midterm

Hi,
The maximum CPU and user load is defined in /etc/httpd/conf/loncapa.conf , somewhere close to the top.
Your redirection looks like an error in the host table - the machine tries to offload. Your server is not connected to the cluster, so you cannot load-balance against other machines, and likely those tables only have one entry.
Can you send me what’s in
/home/httpd/lonTabs/hosts.tab
/home/httpd/lonTabs/dns_hosts.tab
to see what’s going on there?
- Gerd.
