[LON-CAPA-users] Changes to parameters are not taking effect

It's probably set at the wrong level. Some possibilities:

* for the top-level course folder, parameters cannot be set at the folder level.
* parameters set on a part-level do not cascade "up" - you might have set something for "Part 2" of a problem, which would only catch for a problem that has a Part 2

I would suggest going to the "Existing Parameters - Overview Mode," find the parameter that you set, and see what level it is set at.
