Hmmm... does it occur for both short and long problems?


Indeed. It seems independent of whether it is a trivial (few lines) problem,
or a complicated problem with mixed javascript, applets, etc. It always
behaves this way at work, and no where else.

One thing I haven't tried is reproducing the problem using another server.
I'll try to edit the XML for a test problem on the educog server tomorrow
from my work network.

Other things I can check or test?
