Can a type 2 group exist inside a type 1 group as well? I take it type 2 is
broader--almost like a section?
Synonyms for "cadre" include
squad, corps, unit, team, band, company, crew, force, troop
faction, group, core, hard core, band, set, bloc, clique.
How does "cadre" or "bloc" grab you?
