All releases of lon-capa are equally easy to upgrade.

The upgrade process will be, Download the tar file, untar it, run the
UPDATE script in there, restart the loncontrol and httpd services

We strive to make all upgrades of lon-capa, no matter how large in
changes to require as little effort as possible for the sysadmin (and
the users)

That being said, 2.4 will be feature and functionality upgrades.

I'd be very hesitant to run the current test version on any production
machine.

But putting out a 2.3.4 that only contains the changes to support an RHEL
5 might be possible. I'll need to see what changes Stuart needs to
make first to see.
