Hi,

Actually, I just came back from an Educause workshop on the "Next Generation
Course Management System" - seems like what people want here (and what no
system can do yet) is to annotate a student's essay. Meaning, the instructor
can insert comments into the student's essay through the web interface. I
thought about this on the flight back - I think we can do that just fine for
essays that are submitted in plain text.
