[LON-CAPA-users] issue for a composite problem using MS Edge

Carl,

Thank you for reporting an issue on the LON-CAPA nodes in the msu  
domain affecting submissions from the MS Edge web browser to  
optionresponse items ("checkbox" style) within a composite page.

I have added you as a CC to bug 6862: "Support optionresponse with  
checkboxes in .page".

See comment #2 -- bugs.loncapa.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6862#c2 -- for an  
explanation about an additional change needed specifically to support  
Internet Explorer and MS Edge, (which I have committed to CVS today).

Today's change builds on an earlier code change I committed to CVS on  
9/11/2017 which supports this type of content in other web browsers,  
i.e., Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.
