What we do in Stat 408 at UIUC is to create a TA folder hidden from students, copy the problems to this folder. Then we set the due date and answer date early so that the answers and solutions show up there. The TAs are assigned the instructor role so they can see the folder. Since most of our problems are randomized, we also change the question type to "Practice" in that folder so the TA can click the New Variation button to see the answers and solutions to different versions of the same problem.

What techniques are used to provide TAs and instructors with views of hints and answers?
I have my TA set as a course coordinator. One option I considered is to change the parameters to show the answer early for the TA role. The parameter table does not permit me to set parameters for individual users except for the student role. Are there other ways that others have done this? If I create a student role, the lack of grades will affect the course average grades.
