[LON-CAPA-users] Why the label "will be reservable later" is displayed for some questions after an expired time slot?

Hi,

Need some clarification on why some questions are labeled as "Reservation
needed: will be reservable later" after the time slot has already expired.

We ran our July Math Placement Test sessions on July 7th and July 9th using
student-selectable time slots. The next reservation for our MPT will open
on July 25th for students to sign up for the August test sessions (Aug
2-6). All our July, August and September time slots that we have created
are within the same period where time slot is unique (no one can choose
more than one time slot within that period).

After all the July time slots have expired, I noticed that for some
students that have attended those time slots, if they logged back in and
clicked on [Reservations], they would see a list of Questions tagged as
follows:

Example for one student who wrote on July 7th.
Question 1: Problem is unavailable
Question 2: Reservation needed: will be reservable later
Question 3: Problem is unavailable
...
Question 17: Problem is unavailable
Question 18: Reservation needed: will be reservable later
Question 19: Reservation needed: will be reservable later
Question 20: Problem is unavailable
...
Question 24: Problem is unavailable
Question 25: Reservation needed: will be reservable later
Question 26: Problem is unavailable
...
Question 29: Problem is unavailable
Question 30: Reservation needed: will be reservable later

I am not sure I understand why some questions are still tagged as "will be
reservable later" when their associated July time slot has already passed.

I also noticed that those questions that are labelled as such are precisely
the ones that the student had answered wrong.

Thanks,

Amos Lee
