Yes.

A slot can include start and end date/time for:
"Period of time when this slot can only be uniquely chosen"

When a student reserves a slot where the time period from start to end
for "uniquely chosen" is defined, this will prevent that same student
from reserving a new slot for which the time between slot start and
slot end falls within the interval between the start and end time for
"uniquely chosen" for the existing (reserved) slot.

If you do this then a student will only be able to reserve one of
Slot_1, Slot_2, or Slot_3.

The use case for which "uniquely chosen" slots were originally
designed did not allow students to reserve a second slot within the
"uniquely chosen" period, if a slot had already been reserved,
regardless of whether the student actually attended the reserved slot
or not.

To support that capability with the current mechanism a Course
Coordinator (CC) would need to use the Slot Management interface to
delete reserved slot(s) for student(s), (who did not attend them)
after the corresponding slot start date(s). Once that had been done
each student would then be able to reserve a later slot (assuming
vacancies still existed).

Deletion would be needed because otherwise the student would already
have a slot reserved within the "uniquely chosen" time interval.

To avoid the need for CC intervention, "uniquely chosen" slot
functionality in LON-CAPA would need to be modified, when determining
if the student could make a new reservation during the "uniquely
chosen" interval, to determin whether the student ever checked-in to a
slot he/she had reserved.
