The current options for the show problem status parameter are:

Yes
Yes, and show correct answer if they exceed the maximum number of tries.
No, don't show correct/incorrect feedback.
No, show no feedback at all.

I believe that, before the answer open date, the first option shows the
correct answer only for questions that a student answers correctly. You
might try the following.

Set the show problem status parameter to yes. After the students have
written the test, take a snapshot of their scores. Increase the number of
tries to allow students to do their corrections, and make sure that the
answer open date is set for after all corrections have been completed. Use
the snapshot score and the revised score to compute the total score.

Justin

Hi again,

I should probably explain this better:

My students are taking a proctored =A0exam on lon-capa. After they have rec=
eived the exam results, I want to give them a second chance, at a reduced c=
redit, to complete the exam problems they got wrong. For the second go, the=
y are allowed to work from home. So for obvious reasons, after the first ro=
und, I don't want lon-capa to tell them the answer to the problems they=
got wrong, but I do want lon-capa to tell them which problems were right.<=
br>
Is there any way to do something like this? Obviously there is some manual =
work associated with the reduced credit, but I'm willing to do that. Fo=
r now, I'm stuck on showing students which problems they had wrong with=
out revealing the answer to them.
Hi,

If there any way, after the due date, to make lon-capa display the problem =
status of a the problems in a set without showing the correct answer to the=
problems that were answered wrong?
