Hello,
Thank you for the information about adding the format argument into the
numericalresponse. I had used a format statement when defining the
variables, but did not have a format argument in the response itself.
That fixed my Question #1!
I suppose Question #2 will simply require some recoding with page breaks.
Also, I have noticed that the numbers of questions in exam mode appear at
the END of the question if the text for the question is inside a
radiobutton response routine. I suppose that is another quirk.

Did you try setting the format argument on the numericalresponse to "3S"?
