Hi Hon-Kie and Jay,

Bug 5523 was about the window tag in authoring.  I'm not sure if the 
previous tries functionality shares some of the same code.  According to 
bug 5523 the code is located in scripttag.pm which may or may not 
reference code shared by the previous tries.

I just tested out this issue again on our MSU library server which is 
now updated to LON-CAPA 2.6.1.  Again, I had not problems and the window 
did not hang.  I tried it with IE 7 on XP.  I created a bug report 
anyway because the pop-up window probably shouldn't keep jsmath 
activated like it shows.
