FYI, The problem works fine on the educog server for me too. On the VCU server I get the incorrect display. VCU is still running 2.4.2, so I assume that is the issue. I think I'll use the perl interface for now (since all my resources are authored on VCU); but I look forward to playing with the maxima interface. Thanks for all the help, Jay
