Sorry, I didn't mean to imply any problems with LonCapa. More of an issue
with my ability to figure it out, and the apparent difficulty (and security
issues) of the concept as a whole:)

Just to clarify this isn't a LONCAPA issue. This a web security issue.

Imagine what it would be like if any webpage could start up and remote
control Excel.

Which is basically what you are asking for, thus (by default) no web
page can do what you are asking.

So it's not Excel talking to LONCAPA that's the problem, it's Excel
talking to any webpage that's a problem. (And a security nightmare.)
