[LON-CAPA-users] Flash movies and LON-CAPA

Neat. I can run this in Firefox just fine!

However, there is a problem in viewing the camtasia movie in IE7. When I
click on the link, I get a message of a runtime error, line 259, invalid
argument. When I click to debug, I get the following showing up in the
debugging editor:

<script type="text/javascript">
function explainIt(explainlink) {
    var title = 'Explain it to me';
    var options = 'scrollbars=1,resizable=1,menubar=1';
    options += ',width=820,height=620';
    explainitwindow = open(explainlink,title,options,"1");
    explainitwindow.focus();
}
</script>

Where "invalid argument" points to this line of the above script.

  explainitwindow = open(explainlink,title,options,"1");

Whether or not I view the debugging program, the camtasia window will not
open.

I presume this is either a bug in javascript or IE7, or at least an
incompatiblity between them? Can the script be changed so it works with
IE7. (Or maybe I need to change some security setting in IE7? Popup blocker
is off, and the site is in the "trusted zone"--otherwise most of LON-CAPA
wouldn't function.)

(By the way, there was another problem with IE7 which I think has already
been reported as a bug--in the author space the drop down menus beside a
problem or a file do not function).
