Ray,
The slots did "work like a charm" for me. But my use is currently extremely
limited. I am having students sign up for field trips, and created a
different slot for each trip. I set up a dummy problem and assigned it the
slots. That's all. Students were, and currently still are, able to
successfully sign up for a slot. That's all I've done. I haven't yet cared
about other usually important details like properly opening/closing a
problem, using a proctor, etc.
