This should be left blank, the student will fill this in.
(You should never modify this PARM in the normal PARM screen.)

This should be left blank, as students will assign to themself a slot.
(Use this one when you want to as an instructor force a particular
slot onto a student)

Not that this currently requires a : seperated list of slot names if
it is used. (I likely need to change that...)

Have you 
- set an opendate in the past?
- set a duedate in the future?
- navigated to the resources as the student?
   (there should be a "Sign up for time to work." button when viewing
   the resource.)
