<font size=3D"2">I seem to be missing something simple. I did this when I
had a little demo account, but now I am on the eduCog Big Machine, it
doesn't seem to work.

I want to set max=5Ftries to 1, so students only have one shot to answer th=
e question.

As author, I publish the page (contains a sequence).

As Course Coordinator, I import it into a directory. I tried setting
max=5Ftries through the Parm Helper process, also through the Overview
Table looking thing.

Unfortunately, no one (Coordinator or student) is limited in their
number of tries. Should Coordinator be limited when I look at the
problem? I also logged in as a student, and the student was also not
limited.

Also, the student has no roles set, and their name does not appear in
the upper right of the screen. I thought their name appeared on the
demo system, with the label "student".

I assume I am overlooking the obvious - help!

Thanks,
