I was just informed by a student that some of the first year students in
my program (not at Michigan State, but the university where I am now
located) have been doing this all year with WebCT. Please tell me this is
not possible with LON-CAPA. I am still trying to convert everyone over
here to LON-CAPA and hoping to use it with my own course in the fall.

"Other issues I have witnessed was with the quizes. A friend in
residence who normally hangs around with the group of people I do went
out to a birthday party for a friend I did not know. When she returned
I watched her complete a friends quiz within a few minutes.

This group of friends she was out with had been doing it all year. The
way it was completed was by loading up the initial trial of the
quiz. They would answer the first attempt randomly. Then
when the answers for the first attempt were given and then take the
address of the page by doing something in the menu when you right click
the mouse. At that time they would change the address of it and it
would release the answers for the second attempt of the quiz before the
first attempt was released. My friend she was showing did not however
use the answers as we worked on the quizes together. But it is really
that easy to cheat."
