Ray,
Okay - I'm thinking that I'm seeing a pattern here. The thing that was
bugging me was the need to pop the remote twice. Or exit and restart IE,
or whatever. Because it didn't work the first time, I went looking for
other problems like javascript.
This helps - the minimum path seems to be just what you say: allow
pop-ups, then try to kick the remote twice.
