Hi All,

1.3.2 announcement let me know if anything sounds bad in it:

New Version 1.3.2 Released


Bugfix release.

You will want to update.

Notable Changes:
- lon daemons work better when bringing up both halves of a link
- <m> works with Safari on Mac 
- resources using 'Hidden URL' also hide the url of linked resources
- public acces to problems works again
- <organicresponse> shows the instructor's answer after correct
- scantron grading checks that instructor has specfied enough information
- <imageresponse> does previous checking
- message about how long something is open now says 1 hour rather than 3600
  seconds
- <organicstructure> better about valance electrons
- <organicstructure> wasn't drawing in - due to font problems
- exam printing respects format again
- Excel formulas where wrong in some cases
- _ works in a username again
- FDBK on versioned resources no longer causes access violations
- crtical messages respect hard returns in messages
- pickcourse works when there are several course with the same description
- password changing through PREF works again
- Excel CHRT output marks students who tried a problem but didn't get it
  correct with a negative number of tries attempted
- Publishing speedups
- can publish a dir without republshing unchanged files
- Simple Problems no longer create bombs while being edited


To install this update:

1) You will need to be running Fedora Core 2 or 3 



2) Use yum to update your machine and then install the
      LONCAPA-prerequisites

yum update
yum install LONCAPA-prerequisites



3) Download the new LON-CAPA tarball from
wget http://install.lon-capa.org/versions/loncapa-1.3.2.tar.gz

and untar it

tar xzvf loncapa-1.3.2.tar.gz



4) Run the UPDATE script as root
cd loncapa-1.3.2
su
./UPDATE



5) restart the system services
/etc/rc.d/init.d/loncontrol stop
/etc/rc.d/init.d/loncontrol start
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
