[LON-CAPA-admin] LON-CAPA service interruptions: January 4 and 5 (8am-5pm EST)

Hi,

Scheduled work on electrical power in the building at Michigan State  
University which houses the servers used to host the following  
LON-CAPA web sites:

www.loncapa.org
install.loncapa.org
bugs.loncapa.org
source.loncapa.org
mail.loncapa.org
testdrive.loncapa.org

means that all six web sites will be unavailable between 8 am and 5 pm  
EST on Thursday, January 4, and Friday, January 5 (2018).

The servers which provide LON-CAPA service for the msu domain itself  
will not be affected, so LON-CAPA service will be available as normal  
for MSU faculty, staff and students.  Servers in domains outside msu  
will also be able to access msu content in the cross-institutional  
content repository, as normal.
