[LON-CAPA-admin] lonsql cannot connect to database

Thanks, Mark. That was the problem. I removed /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock and MySQL was able to restart. Whew!

There is a problem with Centos and Redhat that mysql is not always brought
down gracefully when restarting the computer, or at least a lock or socket file still
exists. If mysql refuses to restart, you might look into this.
