[LON-CAPA-admin] Help with a transition

By "directions online" I'm assuming you are referring to:
http://loncapa.org/hardwareupgrade.html

Personally, I supplement what is documented there by also copying
/etc/httpd/cong/loncapa.conf from the old server to the new server.

I would suspect an inconsistency between the values for lonHostID and  
lonDefDomain in /etc/httpd/conf/loncapa.conf and the corresponding  
items in the server's record in /home/httpd/lonTabs/hosts.tab
