[LON-CAPA-admin] Next release?

Mark,

I'm expecting to make two different releases available in the coming days.

(a) A 2.8.2 bug fix release for institutions with IT policies which  
discourage software changes (other than bug fixes) to the  
institution's Course Management Systems during the academic year will  
be available within the next few days.

(b) A 2.9.0 release which will include both the changes in 2.8.2 and  
also a number of enhancements will be available some days later,  
before the start of the new calendar year.

I'll see about getting a list of the changes in 2.9 posted to the dev  
mailing list, just as soon as I've finished working on a side project  
here at MSU (a Concept Test platform which runs on a customized  
LON-CAPA) which currently helps pay the bills.
