[LON-CAPA-admin] yum update doesn't work

I am trying to yum update, and get the following message:

[root at loncapa ~]# yum update

Setting up Repos

Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: base


I get similar messages on FC3, FC4 and FC5 loncapa machines.
