[LON-CAPA-admin] Student ID numbers

Hi,

We're in the processing of removing SSN from classlists and replacing them 
with a University-assigned student ID#.

If I disable the ID checking Safeguard on the enroll and load the 
classlists with the new ID#, what are the ramifications?

Where is the Student ID actually used in the system?

They're looking to do remove the SSN from the lists for next quarter (read 
three weeks from now).
