[LON-CAPA-admin] ./TEST weblayer test failing

Hello,

    I have a new RH 7.3,  installed per the instructions on the install 
web page using the latest beta loncapa- 0.99.3.
./TEST reports weblayer testing fails login. Looks like I have all the 
perl mods, 3 are out of date (MIME-tools, Crypt-IDEA and PerlMagick). I 
am able to login to mysql with the user www and it's password from the 
loncapa_apache.conf, so I don't *think* it's a db problem, but I did 
have trouble creating the database per the instructions. When I tried to 
INSERT INTO user it complained about no db being selected. lonc and lond 
are running and I don't see any clues in thier associated log files.
    Any trouble shootig tip?
