[LON-CAPA-announce] Accommodation Deadline, LON-CAPA Conference

Hello LON-CAPA Users,

April 15 is the deadline for reserving affordable, on-campus 
accommodations for the 2008 LON-CAPA Conference at Simon Fraser 
University in Burnaby, B.C., Canada (near Vancouver). The registration 
deadline is May 1.

This year's conference activities include:
   * Optional pre-conference, introductory training.
   * Entire session on using LON-CAPA for various forms of assessment,
      including learning about Simon Fraser University's use of
      LON-CAPA for placement testing.
   * Session which LON-CAPA tools that facilitate student-student and
      student-instructor collaboration.
   * Advanced LON-CAPA content creation training.
   * Guided discussion sessions with other LON-CAPA users who teach
      and assess in your field.
   * Opportunity to meet and work with the LON-CAPA development team,
   * New Features of LON-CAPA talk.
