[LON-CAPA-admin] No access to statistical course data

We encountered a weird behavior:
A Course Coordinator (also course owner) can access his course, but 
cannot see any statistical data from today.

It's like the course was empty, e.g.:
-The folders box in the course progress screen only shows "all" instead 
of "all" and the two folders. It says "No course data" for all active 
- The problem difficulty alert box on the What's-New-Page just says "No 
problems satisfy threshold criteria" instead of showing one of the problems.
- Student Submission Reports: No problems listed to select from.

In contrast, Course Contents and Course Editor appear as expected.

Course re-initialization, logout and login again, login on two others 
servers (2.10.0.RC2, 2.9.1) all does not help.

A DC with Ad-hoc course role and also another Course Coordinator (no DC) 
enrolled for testing purposes can both access the data.

Any idea what could be wrong with this CC role? Any other idea what we 
could try?
