<p class="MsoNormal">Just scored my last LON-CAPA exam. Bittersweet moment for sure.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">On behalf of the thousands of Purdue students and faculty, I thank Gerd, Stuart and all of the LON-CAPA family for providing a platform that did what no other could for the cost.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It was never easy here, and it was always a fight against the under-educated administration that feared anything remotely hard, but it was worth every ounce of effort.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Purdue Physics migrates into a Purdue tool called Variate (<a href="https://www.purdue.edu/innovativelearning/tools-resources/instructional-technology/variate/">https://www.purdue.edu/innovativelearning/tools-resources/instructional-technology/variate/</a>)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We will initially lose a great deal of functionality, but I have hope that perhaps working with a tool that is “loved” and not “feared” will result in innovations that can get us back to where we were with LON-CAPA. We have a full summer
ahead of migrating content, but we have made quick work of what we needed for the Summer courses, so it should be fine.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am not sure what happens to the content at Purdue, once the Domain is turned off, but if anyone wants it, I would approve somehow migrating it out to somewhere safe.<o:p></o:p></p>
