Then create a string response instead of a numerical problem. There are some more complicated example loncapa problems using the cas system, but if all you want to do is may sure that they have the correct numerator, denominator, and sign, then a string response should work, even though you are asking for numbers. The string will not evaluate as the same if they enter +.25. You should be able to build the string from random variables.<u></u><u></u></p>
