Yes, subsequent testing seems to confirm and after the initial shock it only makes sense that setting the time limit at the resource level is what is wanted for what we’re doing rather than setting it at the sequence (folder) level. The confusion for us I think
was that setting it at the sequence level then shows it not only as the limit in effect but also at the resource level allowing us to think that they would be 30 minutes each.<br>

For the grading, I personally have not worked much with the spreadsheets in Lon-Capa so yes, was using the phrase somewhat unspecifically. I’m poking around in the spreadsheet now and will read through documentation to see if I can figure out how to tease
the individual problem scores out of the sequence. I’ll get back to the list with questions or further information if no one else comes up with it first :-)<br>

It's been a while since I've done any timing, but as I recall this is exactly the way it works (or used to work) when you set a time limit on a folder. This is how you can administer, for example, a 2-hr exam. I think you've got two options--set the parameter
at the resource level, or give the sequence a 90 minute time limit. Although the latter is not exactly what you want.<br>

If you're using the actual spreadsheet, I think this should be possible without much effort. I don't know about the other "gradebook" methods. What, exactly, do you mean when you say, "in the spreadsheet"?<br>
