Thanks Guy,
I have been working on it this morning and have found a method that is
basically identical to yours...although I didn't come across the need for
your suggestion of
"the string 'correct_by_override'". I'll keep working on it under my method
and let you know.

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Sure, but it isn't the friendliest bit in LON-CAPA
yet. (http://bugs.loncapa.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2198)

This will help you get the correct resource in the course:

http://help.loncapa.org/cgi-bin/fom?file=271

You will then need to

1) Navigate to the above added resource
2) Click on the PGRD button
3) Click on the Upload button on the right of the screen

You will need to have a csv file that contains for each student at
least
username
domain
Credit factor ( a number between 0 and 1 that is the correctness the
student got)
the strint 'correct_by_override'

Example line:
albertel,msu,0.5,correct_by_override

That says

4) select the file and hit upload
5) assign desciptors to the fields
6) upload.

Let me know how it goes.
