Is there any way to make tth translate everything in a tex file except
the math into x/html, and leave the math verbatim? I mean force tth to
leave everything surrounded by \( ... \)  or \[ ... \] un-translated.

If this was possible, it would make it easy to prepare tex files for
lon-capa publication. One could simply translate the tex file with tth
and then surround the math by m-tags.
