So what this means: if you are editing a problem in edit-XML mode, and
add a new numerical response, you can do so and leave out the "id". When
the problem is then published, an ID will be automatically generated and
added to the tag. If you however remove an existing ID by hand, all data
and parameters already associated with that response tag will be
inaccessible.
