HI All,
I wanted to run this question past the group again in case someone with an answer may have missed it the first time. Thank you!

Subject: multi-part library problems?
Hi All,
I have an instructor who likes using library items in his problems for the versatility of mixing, matching and adjusting things like quizzes from semester to semester. However, in a recent quiz he included a library problem with three parts. For his single part library problems he puts the part tags in the quiz itself surrounding the import tags. For this multipart import though he put the part ids in the library problem itself and did not put part tags surrounding the import. This worked in terms of the students seeing the three part library problem along with the other library problems and being able to submit their answers. However, the three part problem does not show in the Lon-Capa spreadsheet. When you go in to look at a student's work on the quiz, you can see the three part problem along with the student's previous tries link, etc. in the display portion of that page, but when it comes to the sections on submissions lower down the page they do not appear. If you click to grade the student, the three part imported library problem does not appear there either.
Are library problems not intended to be multipart? Are they supposed to be done differently? Or is this a bug? Thanks,
Doug
