[LON-CAPA-users] Question about Kaltura and embed code

Kaltura now only offers iFrame embed code, so I think I can still embed if I can figure out the magic touch to make the code work. As is, it gives me a black placeholder.

I don't know exactly what changed yet.
If we embed it that way we lose the analytics we need for research.

Hi,

You could always put the videos directly into LON-CAPA, we have no problems serving pseudo-streaming videos. That would make you save from any future "upgrades." Using the HTML5 <video>-element, you could even provide multiple versions of your videos in LON-CAPA.

But it looks like Kaltura still advertises embedding videos - what exactly changed?
