[LON-CAPA-users] Forcing a sigma solution

Thanks Gerd. I thought Exam might be a special online Exam mode.

I tried to make the text box that will contain the formula for the term to have the pencil icon, but it didn't seem to work. Is it possible to do that with a custom response question?

Yes, that would make a difference. "Exam" is meant to create bubbles for a bubble sheet, which with a free-response doesn't work.

If you plan on using this for an online exam, there is no need to use "exam" mode.
