[LON-CAPA-users] automatic calendar dates

If memory serves it seems that the calendar used to get populated automatically with opening and closing dates, etc. for assignments set with PARM. However, recent loncapa versions do not seem to have this feature. 

Was this a feature that used to be available? 

Is it still available now? 

And if yes, how do I turn it on?

On a related note, is it possible to edit the XML directly for the calendar?
