Hi,

/res/fhwf/bellmer/Mathematik/Periodische%20Funktionen/Amplitude-aus-Graph.problem
might be what you are looking for. Here randomization ist w.r.t. the 
name of the independent variable.

The problem text is in German. It asks for the amplitude of the oscillation.
