[LON-CAPA-users] Glitch in jsMath

I've been using jsMath to display Latex equations in several problems and
came across a glitch.

Things work fine in loncapa10.fsu.edu, which is running 2.3, but the latex
is not translated when logged in to loncapa2.fsu.edu, which is running 2.22.
(I only discovered this when a TA was checking the problem). Also the
jsMath button is not active on loncapa2.fsu.edu.

I see this behaviour on my laptop in both Firefox and IE7.

Now interestingly on my desktop I see the equation fine when logged into
either machine, and the jsMath button is active on either machine. The only
difference I'm aware of is that I downloaded and installed the fonts
(Tex-fonts25.zip) from
http://www.math.union.edu/~dpvc/jsMath/download/jsMath-fonts.html on my
desktop, but not on my laptop.

It would seem that there is some piece of jsMath missing or improperly
installed on loncapa2? Could that relate to the version difference? Or
would there be another explanation?

(Guy, I think you should be able to log in to loncapa2.fsu.edu and go to one
of your courses that has a jsMath equation to see what happens, then compare
to loncapa10.fsu.edu).

Hon Kie says he is waiting for 2.31 before upgrading loncapa2--so if the
problem is a bug in the 2.22 version it should get cured on upgrade. If
not, however, something else is going on.
