Hi Gerd --
We are running both LON-CAPA and Moodle in the College of Liberal Arts and
Sciences here at UIUC. It is too early yet for me to provide you with much
info about how LON-CAPA and Moodle might complement each other as we have
only been running them side-by-side for one semester and the use of both
systems is still evolving as our users become more comfortable with the
tools. As you know, Moodle has a strong following in the humanities
disciplines where the on-line emphasis tends more to collaborative working
environments which are well catered to in Moodle.
Cheers,
Deanna
Hi,
As a reaction to a posting in the Sloan-C mailing list, the question
arose if there's a university that's running both Moodle and LON-
CAPA. If so, we would very much appreciate any comments regarding how
these two systems might complement each other, and how they compare
to each other in everyday use.
Thanks,
- Gerd.
