There is a lab instructor here at MSU that renamed all the sections that 
meet on Monday "monday," all the sections that meet on Tuesday  have 
been renamed "tuesday," etc..  This may be a workaround for you.  Just 
change the section names in your csv classlist and re-upload it.  There 
is a built in mechanism for renaming sections in the automated 
enrollment functionality too.
