There are many places the student can see this info, hopefully, they
like one of them.

If a student looks at the assignment in the Nav screen and it is
attempted, but not yet graded they see a yellow ... beside the
part/problem along with the word "Attempted"
http://data.lite.msu.edu/adm/lonIcons/navmap.ellipsis.gif

If it is graded they see a Green check mark along with the word "Correct"
http://data.lite.msu.edu/adm/lonIcons/navmap.correct.gif

If it is wrong or they have attempted it but gotten it wrong they see
the an orange X along with the word "Incorrect"
http://data.lite.msu.edu/adm/lonIcons/navmap.wrong.gif

If it is open and unattempted they see a yellow arrow along with the
word "Open"
http://data.lite.msu.edu/adm/lonIcons/navmap.open.gif

Also they can use the "Show Only Uncompleted Homework" to see what
needs to be done (this doesn't show problems which are Attempted but
Ungraded not completed problems, or problems in which tries are exhausted)

Also as a student (and not as instructor/cc, probably need to put this
somewherefor them.) you get the 'GRDS' button.

If there are only Correct/Incorrect problems the student is show 2
columns

Points Scored / Total

If there are problems which have been attempted but are ungraded they
are shown 3 columns

Points Scored / Attempted / Total
