[LON-CAPA-users] HTML Math characters

Is it OK to use the HTML Math characters when posting to FDBK, Bulletin
Board, or writing problems?  For example can I post stuff like this:

P(A ∩ B) or ξ ≤ θ 

How is it with spaces in expressions like the above. Do I need the space
in these expressions, or can I also write this: ξ≤θ ?

Are any font-tags necessary?

Will all or almost all browsers render this?
