Hello!

Due to time constraints, please register via email for the third annual
workshop and conference.


LON-CAPA 2003
COMMUNITY THROUGH QUALITY & SUSTAINABILITY

January 17th and 18th, 2003
Truckee Meadows Community College
Reno, Nevada

Training workshops will be offered.  A & B may be run concurrently with C.

Breakout Sessions
You are cordially invited to participate in working sessions addressing
some of LON-CAPA’s concerns.  
11. Please choose 2  of the following (A-E) in order of your preference
(You will be assigned to only one):
A. Economic Stability
        Explore various models of sustainability
B. Content Creation
        As more features are developed, content needs to be created to take
advantage of these features.  What are the key assumptions and guidelines?
C. Content Quality
        Existing content must be evaluated for quality and improved to
take
advantage of LON-CAPA features. Criteria need to be developed for
evaluation.
D. Research Efforts
        Research efforts should be collaborative and well coordinated.
E. Evaluation
        With the help of the Evaluation Advisory Board, evaluation efforts
need
to be furthered, well documented, and disseminated.

the conference.



Travel & Hotel
To assist with your planning, please note that we will cover the
following conference participation costs:

Airfare (you must book with our agent, Spartan Travel; 1-800-684-7384).
You must register for the conference before booking your flight.

Hotel accommodations (overnight room charges will be booked and billed
directly by us). Hotel accommodations will be provided by the Sienna
Hotel (http://www.sienareno.com/).

All conference meals (Thurs.- Reception, Fri.- B-L-Di, Sat.- B-L-Di,
Sun.– B).

Shuttle Service to and from the airport will be provided by the hotel.
Transportation between the hotel and conference site will be provided.

Incidental room charges, taxis, airport parking, car rental, and meals
during travel days are at your own expense.
