Hi, Ron Fox worked on lonc and got qutite a few bugs out. If you want to try out his new version, and had explicitly checked out the STABLE version in the meantime, you need to go cvs update -A lonc to get back to the bleeding edge of lonc development - otherwise, you get stuck with the STABLE version for that component.
